Complementary Software

The complementary software for the SINGER SUPERB™ EM200 Embroidery-Only machine and the SINGER® LEGACY™ Sewing and Embroidery Machine is called “PSW Intro”.  This software allows you to use embroidery designs that you download from the internet, embroideries from purchased design collections, etc.  The key function of this software is to allow you to view your embroidery design to determine desired size, placement and rotation within the hoop parameters viewed on the computer screen, before transferring it to your USB stick and then placing the USB into the machine for sewing.  Please note that before you can use outside designs such as those you download from the internet or those from purchased design collections, you will need to first download and install the complementary software

How to Download and Install the Complementary ‘PSW Intro’ Software:

  1. Go to:  https://singer.mysewnet.com/.

  1. From the main menu, select CREATE MYSEWNET ACCOUNT.

  1. After signing in to your mySewnet account, from the main menu select DOWNLOADS.

  1. When the list of downloads appears, select “Please download your PSW Intro software here”. Click on “here” to start the download process.

  1. After downloading the software, you must install the software.  To install the complementary PSW Intro Software on your computer, first locate the file where it was saved on your computer (typically, this is the Downloads folder on your computer).  “Double Click” the file to start the installation process.

  1. The step by step installation of the software will begin with the “Welcome” window.

  1. Continue clicking on “Next” as the screen prompts you.

  1. After reading and agreeing with terms given in the License Agreement, click “Next”

  1. As the screen notes, enter your name and company name (if applicable) and click on “Next”.

  1. Select the directory where the software should be installed (the default directory is recommended), then click “Next”.

  1. Finally, confirm the information and select “Install”.

  1. Pressing the “Next” button will start the installation of the Software.  A progress bar will indicate the stage of the installation. It will finish when it has reached 100%.  The installation process will automatically close at completion.  If the installation process identifies a lack of available space on your computer, an error message will prompt you to free some hard drive space before proceeding with installation.

To locate the manual for the software, from the main menu in the software, go to Help, and then scroll down to Open the Manual.
